How We Can Help

At Clear Course Mediation, we assist individuals and families in navigating the complexities of alternative dispute resolution. My focus is on facilitating effective communication, promoting understanding, and safeguarding the interests of all parties involved. I aim to resolve conflicts related to divorce, co-parenting, elder care, landlord-tenant disputes, and workplace issues, ensuring a smoother path forward.

Qualified Mediator

Dedicated to Helping People Solve Issues Through Mediation and Conflict Resolution

Ginger Plumbo, M.A.

Ginger Plumbo is a qualified neutral on the Minnesota Judicial Branch Rule 114 roster and a trained mediator with nearly 100 hours of specialized education and practical experience in civil and family mediation. She brings to her mediation practice more than two decades of high‑stakes communication, conflict navigation, and stakeholder engagement experience across healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate environments.

Ginger is known for her calm presence, empathic listening, and ability to create a psychologically safe environment where people feel heard, respected, and supported. Her approach is grounded in dignity, neutrality, and compassion—qualities consistently reflected in a recent Leadership Academy, where colleagues described her as “an outstanding leader…humble and compassionate,” “a great listener,” and someone who “establishes a safe environment that enables others to speak up.”

Throughout her career, Ginger has facilitated difficult conversations, guided individuals and teams through emotionally charged situations, and helped diverse stakeholders find clarity, alignment, and forward momentum. Her background includes extensive work in issues management, crisis communication, patient and family support, and collaborative problem‑solving—skills that translate seamlessly into mediation.

As a mediator, Ginger helps parties explore their needs, understand one another’s perspectives, and work toward solutions that feel fair, sustainable, and self‑determined. She is committed to the principle that people are the experts in their own lives and that mediation offers a respectful, empowering path toward resolution.

Ginger holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from North Dakota State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of North Dakota, and an academic rank as an Instructor of Healthcare Administration at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
